On Saturday, May 10, 2025, The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation proudly joined Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) to celebrate the culmination of a powerful partnership—one rooted in education, empowerment, and community. Through CMSRU’s JUMP High (Junior Urban Medical Pioneers) program, eight New Jersey high school students and their parents completed TMJF’s Closing the Wealth Gap program, a multi-week financial literacy course powered by TMJF and the nationally recognized Money Vehicle curriculum.

Holiday Dinner Basket Surprise 2024: Spreading Joy, Relief, and Hope in Philadelphia
The holiday season is a time for joy, togetherness, and giving—and this year’s Holiday Dinner Basket Surprise (HDBS) was a shining example of the power of community and compassion. On December 13, 2024, The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF) hosted its annual HDBS event at West Philadelphia High School, bringing festive cheer and much-needed support to 280 families in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Announcing the Inaugural Malcolm Jenkins Visionary Impact Scholars: Empowering Future Leaders at The Ohio State University
The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF) is proud to announce the inaugural recipients of the Malcolm Jenkins Visionary Impact Scholarship (MJVIS) at The Ohio State University (OSU): Ethan Dicken, a second-year Aviation major, Mitch Arthur, a second-year Accounting major, and Donte Beck-King, a second-year Computer Science and Engineering major. These outstanding scholars have exemplified academic excellence, a commitment to service, and a strong vision for positively impacting their communities.

We are beyond excited to announce a powerful new collaboration that’s set to make a lasting impact in Camden! Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) has partnered with The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF) and Money Vehicle LLC to bring the "Closing the Wealth Gap" financial literacy program to high school students in CMSRU’s Junior Urban Medical Pioneers High School Academy (JUMP High). This unique partnership is designed to provide 15 JUMP High seniors and their parents with the essential financial skills needed to build wealth and create a secure future.
TMJF Amplifies Youth Voices with Brightness in Black
On Saturday, September 14, national nonprofit StoryCorps officially launched its newest initiative, Brightness in Black, in Philadelphia. This powerful program is dedicated to collecting and amplifying stories that reveal the nuance, complexity, and richness of the Black experience in America. The launch was a resounding success, marking the beginning of an exciting journey to elevate Black voices in ways that reflect not just struggles and challenges, but also the strength, resilience, and hope within the community. The program is possible with support from Michael Jordan and the Jordan Brand’s Black Community Commitment, as well as The Hearthland Foundation.
Get Ready Fest® 2024: Empowering Camden Families, One Resource at a Time
This year’s Get Ready Fest® was nothing short of amazing! Hosted by The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation, the event brought together community members, partners, and volunteers to provide essential support to 1,000 Camden families. From health screenings and financial literacy resources to nutritious groceries, school supplies, and even free haircuts, Get Ready Fest® offered everything families needed to start the school year off right.
