Education Access & Leadership

Project R.EWARDS & Malcolm Jenkins Scholars

Project R.E.W.A.R.D.S. (Reinforcing Education with Activities, Recreation & Developmental Supports) equips high school students with the essential life and leadership skills needed to thrive in school, their communities, and future careers. Through experiential learning, interactive lessons, and community engagement, participants build communication skills, confidence, and strong decision-making abilities that help them pursue their goals beyond high school.

Students who complete the Project R.E.W.A.R.D.S. curriculum and demonstrate leadership, resilience, and commitment to their future may be recognized as Malcolm Jenkins Scholars, receiving scholarship support to help advance their education.

Students supported through the Malcolm Jenkins Scholars initiative and the Malcolm Jenkins Visionary Impact Scholarship (at OSU), gain:

  • Access to higher education

  • Reduced financial stress

  • Leadership and personal growth opportunities

  • Tools and resources for long-term success

Economic Empowerment & Financial Literacy

Closing the Wealth Gap

Financial literacy is not a privilege—it’s a necessity. Closing the Wealth Gap is a MJF program powered by Money Vehicle’s evidence-based, 12-chapter curriculum, equipping middle school, high school, and college students with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed financial decisions and develop a clear, actionable financial plan for their future.

Through lessons on saving, budgeting, credit, and investing, students learn to see money as a tool for opportunity rather than a barrier. By preparing young people and their families with skills for lifelong financial stability, the program helps expand access, address systemic inequities, and create pathways to economic mobility.

Students leave the program with:

  • Financial confidence

  • Practical money skills

  • Tools for long-term stability

  • A clearer path to economic opportunity

Leadership & Narrative Development

G.L.O.W. Greatness Lives in Our Words™

Every young person has a story worth telling—and the power to shape their own legacy. G.L.O.W. centers narrative justice—equipping youth with the tools to define themselves, challenge harmful stereotypes, and use storytelling as a pathway to confidence, identity development, and social change. When young people control their narratives, they reclaim power and possibility.
Through hands-on projects, students build 21st-century skills, strengthen cultural pride, and create content that reflects their experiences and communities. By empowering youth to lead as authors of their own stories, G.L.O.W. transforms creativity into a pathway to confidence, belonging, and leadership.

As part of our commitment to empower 1 million youth and young adults by 2040, programs like G.L.O.W. help ensure young people have the tools, experiences, and platforms to shape their futures and inspire change.
