Why It Matters

Getting into the room is not enough. Young people need the skills to command it — the confidence to speak, the clarity to decide, the resilience to lead when it's hard, and the vision to know where they're going before they get there.

Too many students graduate with knowledge but without the life skills that determine what they do with it. Project R.E.W.A.R.D.S. closes that gap — building the whole person, not just the transcript.

And for students who demonstrate that growth and choose to pursue higher education, the Malcolm Jenkins Scholars program meets them there. College costs are rarely covered by a single source. The gap between what aid covers and what college actually costs is often what stops a ready student from going. The Malcolm Jenkins Scholarship ensures financial barriers don't stand between ambition and access.
