Building What’s Next: Malcolm Jenkins Foundation Announces Inaugural Advisory Council
The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (MJF) is proud to announce the formation of its inaugural Advisory Council, a major step in strengthening the Foundation’s long-term vision, sustainability, and impact. As MJF celebrates 15 years of service, this new council will help guide the organization’s next chapter as it continues expanding opportunity for youth and young adults in underserved communities.
The Advisory Council brings together leaders from business, education, public policy, philanthropy, the arts, wellness, technology, and sports who share MJF’s commitment to equity, access, and opportunity. Members will provide strategic guidance, expand the Foundation’s network, and help shape initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of communities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Ohio.
“Sustainable impact requires bold thinking, strong relationships, and trusted guidance,” said Gwendolyn V. Jenkins, President & CEO. “With the Advisory Council’s insight and influence, MJF is further honing our strategy, expanding our reach, and ensuring our work continues to be responsive to the needs of the communities and the people we serve.”
Advisory Council members will serve two-year terms and convene quarterly, bringing expertise that will strengthen MJF’s ability to advance its mission and long-term goal of helping create a national model for sustainable, community-driven transformation for one million youth by 2040.
“As we celebrate 15 years of impact, we are proud not only of the work we’ve accomplished, but also of the vision that continues to propel the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation forward,” said Malcolm Jenkins, Founder and Chairman. “Our mission is rooted in equity, access, and empowerment fueled by our commitment to dismantling the systemic barriers that disproportionately affect youth and young adults in underserved communities.”
