What to Cover in Your Video

There's no script — just you, your story, and what you've lived through this program. Use these questions as your guide. You don't have to answer all of them, but let them inspire you. Be honest. Be bold. Have fun.

🗺️
Your Financial Journey
Share what your financial journey has looked like so far. Where did you start? What have you learned? How has your understanding of money changed since joining this program?
💡 Be real. Your story is powerful exactly as it is.
💡
How It Changed Your Perspective
How did the Closing the Wealth Gap program shift the way you think about money? What surprised you? What hit different once you understood it?
💡 Think about that moment something finally clicked for you.
💰
Money Habits You've Built
Share one or two money habits you've developed during this program. What are you doing differently now? How does it feel to be more intentional about your money?
💡 Even small habits are worth celebrating — they add up.
Your Favorite Part
What has been your favorite aspect of the program? A lesson, an activity, a conversation, a guest speaker — what stood out most and why?
💡 This is your chance to give the program a real review.
🚀
Your Plan to Apply It
How do you plan to apply what you've learned? What's one financial decision or goal you're going to pursue because of what you now know?
💡 Make it specific. "I'm going to save $X for Y" is more powerful than "I'll save more."
🛣️
Your Road to Financial Freedom
What does financial freedom mean to you? What's your planned journey to get there? The road isn't about how fast you go — it's about how far you're willing to travel.
💡 Dream big. Speak it into existence.

Video Requirements

Keep it original, keep it real, keep it yours. These rules make sure every video is judged fairly.

⏱️
Length: 1–5 Minutes
Your video can be anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes long. Take the time you need to share your story fully — but keep it focused and engaging throughout.
🎯
Your Story, Your Voice
This is about YOUR personal experience in the program. Be authentic, be honest, and speak from the heart. No one can tell your story better than you.
🎵
No Copyrighted Music
Use original audio, royalty-free beats, or record in silence. No songs from Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube that you don't own. Violations disqualify the video.
Your Original Work
No AI-generated voices, no stolen clips. Every part of your video must be created by you. You can collaborate with a classmate, but only one person submits per entry.
📲
Submitted by Your Educator
All final videos are submitted by Duanda Dixon on behalf of scholars. You provide your final video file or link. Do not post publicly until after the event.
🎭
Get Creative. Have Fun.
Talk to camera. Use graphics. Add music. Do a vlog style. Whatever feels right to you — there is no one right style. Just be yourself and let it shine.
