Why It Matters

Too many young people grow up in a world that tells their story for them — through media that ignores them, curricula that erase them, and institutions that were never built with them in mind. When young people don't see themselves reflected in the stories that shape culture and opportunity, they begin to doubt whether their own stories are worth telling.

G.L.O.W. exists to change that. When a young person learns to tell their story with intention — to name their identity with pride, to understand how narratives shape power and perception — they don't just gain a skill. They gain agency.

In a world where storytelling and creative production are central to how careers are built and communities are shaped, these are not soft skills. They are essential ones.
