Gwendolyn V. Jenkins is a dynamic leader whose role at The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation is largely shaped by a lifetime of public service. Integrating her years of experience as an honored administrative executive with a desire to create programs that positively impact the lives of youth, she makes it her mission to extend her duties beyond guiding the administrative operations and management of the Foundation, investing a personal stake in each of its events and programs.

Founded in 2010 by her son, 2-time Super Bowl Champion and Pro Bowler, Philadelphia Eagles Safety Malcolm Jenkins, The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 with a mission to effectuate positive change in the lives of youth, particularly those in underserved communities. The Foundation offers a diverse array of programs in New Orleans, LA; New Jersey; Philadelphia, PA; and Columbus, OH, aimed to educate, build character, life skills, and promote health, wellness and recreation.

The Foundation also provides resources, scholarship opportunities and experiences that help young people realize their full potential and become contributing members of their communities. As President, Gwendolyn builds partnerships that advance the Foundation’s mission and impact and motivates her team for success.

In addition to her role as President of the Foundation, Gwendolyn continues her efforts toward making a positive change in the community in her role as Second Vice President of the Professional Football Players Mothers Association (PFPMA). PFPMA is a non-profit service organization that provides a support system for the mothers of professional football players while serving, supporting and strengthening communities through charitable giving.  She is involved in PFPMA’s planning and coordination of educational seminars and programs.

Gwendolyn, is a certified Executive Leadership Coach and Life Coach. Prior to her career in non-profit work, she held the position of Civil Division Manager for New Jersey’s Superior Court judiciary responsible for court administration, program development, strategic planning, and case flow management.

Gwendolyn is married to W. Lee Jenkins, Jr., and they are the proud parents of three sons: Malcolm, Martin, and Myles Jenkins. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Certification from the George Washington University Sports Philanthropy Executive Program.

Gwendolyn is a native of New Jersey and currently resides there.
